Call for papers (ACE 2013, August 28-30)

The organisers welcome many different types of contribution and encourage authors to contact them directly if their proposed contribution does not fit with the normal style of a conributed paper or poster. Nevertheless, authors are encouraged to supply a paper as a record and summary of their contribution where this is appropriate.

Possible submissions

Some of the different formats of submission that might be considered are as follows:

  1. Standard paper to be presented orally.
  2. Standard paper to be presented as a poster.
  3. Demonstration to be presented in a PC lab, or on a table or otherwise. You can use this form to explain your proposal (more information below).
  4. Discussion or panel session or other special session (no paper required but some briefing document on aims and objectives). Please submit proposal using the attached form. [Also available in PDF]
  5. Invited session of 4-6 contributions. Authors should submit papers normally and advise separately that this is for an invited session.
  6. Do contact us direct if your idea does not fit into this list.

Invited Sessions

Proposals of invited sessions are solicited. Each invited session should consist of six papers related to the same topic and of interest for the conference. The organizer(s) must submit an electronic version of the proposal by sending an e-mail to the IPC Chair Sebastian Dormido ( before February 28th, 2013. The proposal should consist of a short abstract and of the list of the authors and titles of papers. Each paper must then be submitted by the author(s) using the normal submission procedure and it will pass through the standard reviewing process. All accepted papers will then be grouped together in the final program.
